What an incredible experience at the 2024 Norfolk Express Soccer Tournament in Simcoe, Ontario! Our Worker Support Services program was on-site, providing support, information and refreshments to over 200 migrant workers taking part. It was a fantastic display of community and camaraderie. In collaboration with the Mexican Ambassador and Consul in Canada, we hosted a fantastic BBQ event in Ottawa, 150+ migrant workers joined us to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Canada-Mexico SWAP program for migrant workers. TNO was present, offering support and valuable information on our services to the migrant workers, along with raffles and prizes for everyone. It was a wonderful day of celebration, connection, and gratitude for the contributions of our migrant community. Thank you to everyone who attended and made this event a success!

It was a great and productive Sunday at Sheridan Nurseries! We hosted an information session about online banking for the workers at Somerville Nurseries, followed by their in-person English class.
It was a productive day at the Guatemalan Embassy in Ottawa! Through our Worker Support Services program, in collaboration with the Embassy of Guatemala and its Consulate. TNO provided valuable information about their rights and obligations as agricultural workers and answered their questions.

On May 12, 2023, we officially opened our Worker Support Services program office in Simcoe, Ontario. Approximately 80 people attended the inauguration event, including 25 temporary foreign workers.

We hosted a Farewell Dinner for over 65 temporary foreign workers in Prince Edward County on October 18, 2023, at Casa Dea Estate Winery in Wellington, Ontario. Great opportunity for community connection and support.
In partnership with the Consulate of Mexico in Toronto, we hosted a Financial Services Support event for migrant workers in the Bradford/York region. Over 26 migrant workers attended the session on digital financial services and how to avoid fraud/scams in real time.

TNO attended an Information Session and Thanksgiving Dinner for temporary foreign workers in Leamington, Ontario. Over 100 workers came out to the event!
In partnership with the Green Valley Alliance Church in Bradford, Ontario, we hosted an Independence Day Celebration for several countries. Over 150 temporary foreign workers attended the event, which included dinner and information for the workers.
TNO was proud to sponsor the annual Simcoe Region Soccer Tournament for temporary foreign workers in the Simcoe, Ontario region. Over 12 teams participated in the tournament, with a final winner being crowned on August 12, 2023.
TNO was invited to participate in a Legal Rights Session hosted by the Embassy of Mexico in Ottawa. The event featured a presentation of temporary foreign workers' rights and responsibilities, presented by TNO. Over a dozen temporary foreign workers were in attendance, and included participation from community members.
TNO hosted an Immigration Information Session in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario, that hosted over 18 temporary foreign workers.
The Annual TNO Services Fair! The Worker Support Services team was onsite, providing information to Toronto residents and temporary foreign workers about our WSS program.
We were proud to participate in the annual Migrant Day Celebration, in Leamington, Ontario. Thousands of workers attended the event, and TNO was fortunate enough to provide information about the Worker Support Services program to TFWs in attendance.
